They will sometimes eat amphibians, but since they are so used to eating rodents, they will have to be very desperate to consider it. A diet of strictly rodents may seem to be a bit plain, it is very healthy for your snake.

Rodents are the healthiest option. The size that is appropriate will vary depending on the size of your corn. Pre-killed are healthiest for the snake because there will be no chance of it being injured by its prey. I know it sounds silly to think a mouse might hurt a snake, but if you look around online, you can find all kinds of horrific examples of the damage that can be done by a rodent fighting back.

If you want your snake to live then you'll have to feed him rodents. If you don't like feeding the live ones then you can buy frozen mice pretty cheap from places like http://www.rodentpro.com You just thaw them out in hot water and feed them that way.

no listen to me okay i have a pet corn snake and if its a baby or a juvenile which is like a teenager feed it live pinkies which is baby mice. its easier to feed it live ones because its descusting to heat them up when they are dead and plus you can just drop them in. they are one dollar. and adult snakes eat fuzzies which is medium to grown mice.
