Yes I have fibromyalgia along with rheumatoid arthritis. It's painful, isn't it? I can only do minor chores and only for a few minutes. Then I rest (with a heating pad). My physicians prescribed pain medication, arthritis medications, muscle relaxants, and quinine for the leg spasms. But everyone's different and you need to find a doctor who will take your problem seriously. There is help. Good luck.

A good friend of ours at church has fibromyalgia. She has been taking a natural product called Reliv for a couple of months and is doing a lot better. Reliv has been featured in BusinessWeek, Forbes, Fortune, and this month cover to cover in Success from Home magazine. I would be happy to tell you more, just drop me a line.
Have a great day,
Michael

Yes I do.....Do a little bit, rest. Do some more, rest. I take muscle relaxers ( I have muscle spasms too) Prescription strength naproxen, (I've had reactions to the other anti-inflammatory prescription meds) and an anti-depressant. I also occasionally take a sleeping pill, and sometimes quinine. I have heard that guifanisan(sp) in cough syrup helps some people too.

I was told I had it, but was never really told what to do about it. Just rest when you get too tired...they said. And don't do too much...
