You could see if the person is open for you to email or im if you are that concerned. Or maybe you can get to their 360 page and leave a message there.

yea a comment is the only route to go now. once the question is resolved you can't answer it in the normal fashion. comments don't get points or anything and they may not even get read because they are not automatically shown, but you can go for it if it makes you feel better. i have done that once.

What you do is you go to the answer page and add a comment. Do this beneath the Best Answer, where it says "Add/view comments."

Or, you find that user and you email or IM him or her, if he or she has set the preference so that other users may send emails or IMs.

I've seen that before too. You can click on their name and they might have email listed... or they may have asked ANOTHER question.. and you can tell them about it there.... that's what I've done... anyway, looking forward to seeing if there is another way... good question...
