My boss asked me to prepare Standard Operating Procedure for the IT Department, and i have no idea that how can i do this.

I would start with figuring out FAQs first and the rules and proceedings in your department. Everything should start to follow close behind after you have an outline of sorts of what you already know. Ask others for input. good luck!

Make a list of procedures so that all departments conform to guidelines. Like for example, (1) All computers should have an antivirus software like ANTIVIR (20 Report suspicious happening to the computer, etc.
