Let's see...ask anyone about the Yankees' Achilles Heel and they'll talk ad nauseum about the subpar starting rotation.
Yet A-Rod...the reigning AL MVP, 10 time All-Star, and a guy on pace for 35+ HR, 120 RBI, and an OBP near .400... is getting thrown under the bus left and right. People just hate because he makes a lot of money. Not his fault the Rangers' GM decided to open the checkbook...what would YOU say if someone offered you $250MM over 10 years to do YOUR job?
Hey idiot Yankee fans...if you don't want A-Rod, we'll take him in Philly!!!

A Rod when all is said and done will probably have more homeruns than anybody and a first ballot Hall of Famer. He already is the youngest to 450 homers. New York papers are famous for grilling players as they did with Mantle and Maris years ago!

I'm not a Yankee fan nor an A-Rod fan, but I'm tired of "so called die hard fans" acting like jerks at Yankee stadium and on Yahoo answers.A-Rod is in a SLUMP.All professional ball players go through this. He will get back into the game and be the best like he has been in the past.Fans just need to shut their big mouths and let the guy be.

My thoughts are he should be playing SS and jeter should move to 2nd. This would benefit everyone involved w/ the yankees. 18 errors? He obviously cannot play the position like it is meant to be played. He's a better player then Jeter and he is paid more so he should have had dibs on that position.
BTW I hate A-Rod

I think A-Rod will start playing better real soon. The only way he will be playing better is if us Yankee fans don't put pressure on him. All we have to do is NOT boo him. And he has to stop putting pressure on himself, also. He needs to go up to the plate and say, "I'm going to get a hit." And he has to stop swinging at bad pitches---he needs to swing at nice ones right down the middle. So, Yankee fans, STOP BOOING A-ROD!!!!!!! HE WILL NOT START PLAYING BETTER IF YOU KEEP ON BOOING HIM!!!!! JUST SUPPORT HIM, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

I think he's a great baseball player. So what if he's not doing well right now, people know he's good. That's why the Yankees got him in the first place.

HaHa hes just in a slump... and will gt out of it soon. All I know was if you are a Bluejays fan you are thanking him for helping them win. (I'm a jays fan and am happy that his rough times are now) but i still feel bad for the guy. Yankee fans should be helping throught it but instead their makingit worse.
