how do you tell if they are real and is there a differance between pm and im?

Most of the time you can figure out if someone is a bot by just waiting and listening to the conversation. If someone is actively following the topics at hand, they aren't a bot. If someone repeats the same 5 lines regardless of what anyone else says, they're usually a bot.
PM = private message. IM = instant message. IM is usually associated with AIM, and PM the rest.

well most of the bots will pm you with a chat box that has a link in it, so hit ignore and go on, and if you watch the people with yahelite it will show them ignorin bots so just watch them, if you dont understand let me know and i can point you the chat room im a member and show ya how it works

no difference in a pm and an im they are the same ....as far as bots ....most of them have no ears and have sexy names ...and post crap in the room that has to do with sex....get Y!Tunnel pro ...set it up right and u wont have to worry about bots in the room ...tunnel sends then to iggy

ask them...and a pm is a private message and im is an instant message..pretty much no difference but usually pm is only used in forums or if somebody is not logged on
