If you mean original trilogies it would be a toss up between Star Wars and The Godfather. Otherwise, The Matrix.

There's some great ones on here, and some have yet to be mentioned (Back to the Future??? C'mon), but in any event, I'm going to throw in a curve ball and say when the third and final installment hits this year, it will be the Bourne movies (Identity, Supremacy, and Ultimatum).

pirates of the carribean .... after the third movie comes out.....other than that i think "the matrix" is the best trilogy right now

cant believe no one's said the matrix yet.....
but i personally believe its the LOTR trilogy! its gonna be a looooooong time before any trilogy even comes close to what that was!
