I read in an e-mail once so the next time I put my mascara on I made sure I shut my mouth and you can to do it w/your mouth shut. But it does help if you open your mouth cause it opens your eyes bigger. Im not really sure why lol...

I can put macscara on with my mouth open thats wierd.Maybe its different when your a grownup!WOW thats a wierd difference. a girl and a women have different reactions on the same makeup not that I wear mascara but sometimes I do when my friend gives me a makeover!its fun and then i give them a makeover

Because they have to put a mask on to wear maskcara, lol... If they open their mouth while putting it on, they mascara will think she's hiding behind a mask and allow her to put it on. Now, that was stupid!

haha good question! I never really noticed, but I do that. I guess it just moves the skin above your eye a little upward and it makes it easier to put the mascara on without getting black all above your eye. =]

To widen the lower lash area so as not to smudge the mascara. I do not open my mouth but some do.

I don't wear it either but have seen the same thing with eyeliner. I think it makes your face longer or something so it's easier to apply. It also may help hold your eyes still.

natually ur mouth will hang open, it takes muslce to close it which relaxes as an attempt to concentrate on putting mascara on.

lol.. i do that all the time..and when i realize i do, i just shut my mouth cuz i feel stupid... its juss a reaction i guess.. everbody does it.. it has to do with ur muscles...ur eyes open wider when u stretch ur face down.. and it gives u more concentration!? haha im not sure
