More Conservatives protesting our troops this time by going to funerals of our beloved service men and women and actually protesting our troops. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/07/22/AR2006072200643.html

Conservatives are claiming gays and others are the reason our troops are dieing.

Forget about rumsfelds rude comments about our troops when he said "they might not be the greatest but you run with what you got".

Forget about Bush and Rumsfeld holding back on protective armour for humvee's.

Does this article prove that conservatives hate our troops, and they accuse liberals of doing so in order to hide their contempt for our nations soldiers?

Conservatives if you don't like America then get the hell out!!!

Chickenhawks don't serve in the military, so the troops are Liberals mostly. Yes I believe they hate Liberals.

The real people who hate our troops are the liberals like those at Human Rights Watch, the ACLU, New York Times, etc. who release damaging reports and information undermining the war effort just because they hate President Bush.

Conservatives hating troops? Not even close. In fact, I was at Sean Hannity's annual "Freedom Concert" and it was a VERY LARGE rally of conservatives in support for our troops (some 13,000 people) with patriotism abound. Lt. Col Oliver North was there as well. A conservative, he founded Freedom Alliance, an organization which awards scholarships to the sons and daughters of fallen United States soliders. That's an incredible example of how conservatives are the ones caring for our troops and their families, even when the government and the people as a whole have long forgotten them and their valiant sacrifices.

The fact that they are protesting indicates that they are hippies! Therefore they are liberals, and your question is off base. I MEAN DON'T THESE PEOPLE HAVE JOBS? They are 1960s rejects lazy @ssed hippies. They are good for nothing unproductive members of society. They happen to believe in GOD but they are hippies none the less. BTW if all the Conservatives left the USA would not have a military. I think they vote somewhere around 90% Republican. Something to do with Vets being spit on by leftist anti war protesters upon returning from Vietnam.

Excuse me hero But I am a conservative and I do not trash troops. I was a 0311 USMC and 11Bravo10 US Army! You wanna go into combat with me??? Hows about we go on over to the front lines or mabey you and I could go to some exotic land where the people are real short and will skin you alive if they find you. Get real with this stuff. There are a whole lot of conservatives who risked their lives so people like you could have freedom... of speach and all else. Just remember that the next time you want to post what ever comes into your mind. There are men who never came home...never and they sure were not like you. they were conservative and had the conscience of a conservative. Mabey you should go to Parris Island for 6 monthes instead of 3. I bet you wouldn't be thinking the way you do now.
OHHHRAAH!
And YOU need to get out of America before you ruin it!

the actual people who hate our troops are the liberals like those at Human Rights Watch, the ACLU, long island circumstances, and so on. who launch damaging comments and innovations undermining the conflict attempt basically as a results of actual fact they hate President Bush. Conservatives hating troops? now not even close. basically, i grew to become at Sean Hannity's annual "Freedom stay common overall performance" and it grew to become an extremely great rally of conservatives in help for our troops (some 13,000 people) with patriotism abound. Lt. Col Oliver North grew to become there besides. A conservative, he based Freedom Alliance, a employer which awards scholarships to the little babies of fallen u . s . a . soliders. it fairly is a ultimate occasion of procedures conservatives are those looking after our troops and their families, even jointly as the government and the persons as an entire have long forgotten them and their valiant sacrifices.

This was one stupid, sick church group not conservatives as a group. The Washington Post rarely proves anything but in this case the only thing proved is that you are an idiot.

I guess all Democrats would like to consider themself in agreement with the member of the Nazi party that was elected in Durham, NC on the Democratic ballot. Does that mean all liberals & Democrats are Nazis.

As you can see you logic or lack thereof is stupid. And for the record this pastor & his band of nonmerry followers are not Republican just over-religious.

This has nothing to do with conservatives, it is a wacko religious sect that protests at military funerals. To try and spin this as a conservative problem shows me that you are an idiot. Rummy's words are out of context, Bush is not in charge of Armor. The Liberals are the Hate America First crowd, I for one am not tolerant of low life's like you that are inflammatory, uninformed and divisive.

Wait, wait, wait - you actually think that the Westboro Baptist Church represents conservatives?! If conservatives and liberals can agree one thing, nay, EVERYONE can agree on one thing here: We all hate Westboro Baptist Church. The WBC is an extreme Calvinist group that is by all means hated by all.

Geez, take a course in logic and pay attention when the professor mentions fallacy of composition and the fallacy of hasty generalization. Also, be sure to check out the strawman!

This is only one wacko family that calls itself a church. They travel around the country with their signs spreading their message of hate at soldiers funerals. They should be ignored and vilified and do not represent conservatives at large. Check out this website for a group who truly respects our troops.

This was a religious group. I have protested against wars since the 60's. I have never seen anything like it. Disgusting! Well, that goes to show how beguiled the main stream religions have become.

Reverend Fred Phelps is a Democrat and an Al Gore fundraiser. In fact he raised enough money for the Democrats that he was invited to both Clinton/Gore inaugarations.
