The youngest I have seen taking college courses were at a community college in a "quick-start" program. He was 16 years old, and it was a business math course. He gave one of the best presentations on his team. Lots of confidence, very smart. Everyone took him for his intelligence and then his age did not matter.
I cannot see anyone that young doing college type work, for one thing...not too many college aged students would want somebody that young on their team for class projects where a percentage of their grade depends upon how well they perform in front of students.
But then again...if they show that they are serious, then it would not be a problem. I have seen the opposite end of the spectrum, where older students had a hard time getting on a team because classmates did not know if they were serious.
It turns out...if you are in college...then the play has to be college level. Otherwise you're sunk.
