To Answer the question 9-11-01 was the one day when peace could have been achieved in a world where the solution to every global problem is to blow each other up. Instead of using our moral high ground to attack Afghanistan, we should have used it to gain the world's support in a plea for peace. Instead of unifying around hatred and violence we should have unified around love and compassion. It would be unrealistic to say that everyone around the world would have put down their guns and stopped using violence right then and there, however by taking that course of action we could have gained the support of virtually everyone around the world and by that example the next generations may never have had to fight in combat. In logotherapy there is a belief that meaning can be found in suffering, and on that day where everyone in the U.S. felt some degree of suffering, we had the opportunity to find great meaning in the terrible event we had all witnessed.
Peace. Love. Unity. Tim D

Well, if I was president, 9/11 would have never happened.
Bush's brother was head of security at WTC, his name is Marvin Bush
head of the attack as we are told was an old 1980s oil buddy of Bush
the 9/11 attack was an inside job with help from the CIA, Mossad and Dick Cheney was most likely the ringleader of the entire event, there are many papers written by high-up officials accusing Cheney of being the mastermind
if anyone other than Bush was president on 9/11, the attack would have never happened since the attack was planned with help of the US Government

1) Close the Borders.
2) Suspend all incoming shipping, and start inspecting the shipping containers.
3) Deport all dissident troublemakers, from countries known to harbor terrorists.
4) Pick one of these countries, known to harbor terrorists, and bomb it out of existence.
5) Warn everyone on Earth, that the next time anyone attacks any target on American soil, that the same thing could happen to them.
6) Repeal NAFTA and GATT.
7) Sharply curtail all incoming flights and immigration quotas.
8) Recall all Americans from the Middle East.
9) Detain the relatives of Bin Laden, instead of helping them escape.
10) Did I say, Close the borders?

I would have gone after Osama bin Laden and he sure isn't in Iraq!!
We'll have peace when the environment is destroyed and we turn into part of the ocean!
I agree Tyler, this pres has gotten the nation scared so he could pull his crap! I would have gone after Osama and that is it. Homeland Security, Hell, we sound like we are Russian.
I am not afraid of the little terrorist. We lose a few, that's the cost of freedom!. Or is it only suppose to be made by millions of servicemen!

i think you mean 9-11-01 and i think peace is a long way away and may never happen in this lifetime...peace gets farther and farther away everyday an now just seems to be a dream...i dont know how i would have handled it personally but i would have thought about the actions before just jumping into a war.

I would have gone after osama and captured him in Afghanistan.
I would have left Iraq alone and waited for an act of agression on his part, then gone in and blown his house of cards apart.
Having captured osama, I would then bring the troops home instead of an occupational army that looses men and women for oil companies and political profits.

I would have gone into afghanistan since they were the one responsible then I would have gone into Iran and North Korea at the same time and bombarded them and sent in ground troops to secure their nuclear factories and help install democracies there.

Here's what I would have done, I would have actually gone after Bin Laden. No troops in other countries until Bin Laden is caught.
And I wouldn't have tried to hand over our ports to countries linked to terrorism.

I pobably would have done the same as Bush, and found the problem and not just gone off and started bombing enemy countries.
But I would have had ALL immigrants interviewed.

I would've immediatly rebuilt the WTC and buffed up our border situation and laugh at them. Still invoking the "United we stand", as to not fall to "terrorism" because when you are afraid, they've won.
