I am looking for information about steel houses including floor plan ideas and specs on them. Please no BS answers I am looking for people in the know here okay.

There are many different styles of building. you can get prefab frames and R-panel siding to steel 2x4-8's trusses and floor joists these are used as wood. Many homes are now being built with mostly steel. Any wood design can use steel instead of wood.
Check with your local building code office .

This may be off subject & only FYI.
There is an all Aircraft Aluminum house designed in 1945-6 in the Ford Museum, Detroit, MI. Designed by Buckey, an engineer. Not very stylish but had interesting concepts. Was too expensive and did not make it in the market place.

Steel is used for studs trusses etc. You better have a big checkbook because it cost 2-3 times of conventional construction.

heritage steel buidings...many sizes and you can use almost any floor plans
