I need another stick of memory. I already have 512 in it already and want another 512.

www.newegg.com, you will need to know what speed (type) of memory to purchase. If it is brand new it will probably be DDR2, if it is 6 months to around 4 yrs old it will most likely be DDR. DDR has multiple speeds, you will need to know what is supported by your laptop and your best bet would be to buy the same speed as the memory already installed in your computer. Faster memory will only work at the slower sticks speed and adding a slower stick will slow down your current stick.

Try to Find a HP Service point or Hp Sales Dealer and but orginal HP ram which is the good way for upgrading the ram.
