Its popular because stupid people that have no idea about music listen to it and think its cool because its sexy cool paris hilton want to know some facts? It took nine times to actually record her in studio over before they could even get something semi decent and even then the producers got voice overs in there to basically try block it out a bit and make it sound a bit better which is clearly impossible thats why people say it doesnt even sound like her thats probably because it hardly would even be her singing and the person that does voice overs probably cant sing to save her self either if she was willing to take that role!
Bottom line is all new music is rubbish it has no real heart and soul no meaning its all just one big money making buisiness now and they like to ram **** into your head and constantly have the same so called cacthy lyrics in your head so you think you like it but it really isnt quality nor is it music its record producers doing overtime with there computers etc Im thinking about becoming a record producer i looked into it and believe it or not it says "its all about who you know" haha so there you have it well that ended up to be a long answer sorry...

Good question. Every time I hear people talk about Paris Hilton, it is not because they like her! Most people don't understand why she's basically just famous for being famous. I watched the video tune once out of curiosity. Not impressed here. I'll take Christina Aguilara or Britney any day over her! Also, there are a lot of promotion dollars behind Paris' new music, so it's presence does not necessarily reflect her popularity! (Or lack of).

It's just a fad. Hopefully people will get over it, she has no talent, no personality, and quite frankly needs a hamburger.
We should start a feed the Paris Hilton fund, obviously with all of her daddy's money she still can't figure out the drive thru at McDonald's. Poor girl, she is crying out feed me with all of her publicity stunts. Give her a Whopper and she will fade from the limelight.
