Both of you have a strong imagination and must have a Dream to live for – the daily round of mundane existence would be too dull without it for either of you. Idealistic and romantic at heart, you sympathise with one another's hopes and dreams and what other people might call impractical fantasies. Both of you are essentially generous souls, you dislike pettiness, and you also dislike limitations (such as budgets, diets, schedules, etc.).

There are many differences between you, though. Pisces is receptive and somewhat passive compared to Sagittarius, who has a lot of restless energy and more of a need to be physically active. Since Sagittarius's energy level is usually higher than Pisces's is, Sagittarius can become impatient with Pisces's more relaxed pace.

Sagittarius is very straightforward, while Pisces is more subtle and often evasive. Also, Pisces is very sensitive and would never make some of the blunt statements that Sagittarius makes. Sagittarius frequently wounds Pisces this way, quite unintentionally.

Pisces is sympathetic, dreamy, receptive, and easily affected by people and surroundings. Pisces tends to avoid abrasive people and situations, and often needs to retreat or withdraw from the hustle-bustle of the world. Escape into fantasy and imagination (or more negatively into compulsive television-watching, drinking or drug use) may be a habit of Pisces's. Sagittarius is a dreamer also, in a way. Faraway goals, big plans, and hopes and visions for the future occupy Sagittarius much of the time. Pisces is more passive than Sagittarius, but both of you are impractical. You are also emotionally generous and sometimes do not know when to stop, where to set limits. You both tend to go to excess or promise more than you are really capable of.

A significant difference between you is that Pisces has a very thin skin and is easily hurt by criticism or unkindness. Sagittarius, on the other hand, does not take everything so personally and can be very blunt and insensitive at times.

Both of you at times can seem cool, emotionally distant and unavailable, or disinterested in people, but this is only a mask. Inwardly, you are apt to feel unlovable, unworthy, or simply afraid to open up and share yourselves. A fear of rejection inhibits your expression of love and affection, and it may seem to you that relationships are too troublesome and too painful to bother with. Security may become extremely important to you, so that you are apt to choose "safe", reliable people to be with – perhaps individuals who are older or more established and settled than you are. Learning to be more playful, and to overcome your fears of intimacy and your tendency to isolate yourselves, are challenges in life that you have in common. In one another, you may have found a wonderful friend who understands your shy heart and your loneliness. You also have come across one who will mirror for you some of your own most difficult life lessons.

You will experience the heights and depths, love and hate, attraction and repulsion, agony and ecstasy in this relationship. A powerful, compelling fascination and irresistible sexual attraction draws the two of you together like magnets. You love each other with a depth of feeling that is surprising even to yourselves. The powerful charismatic power that you have over each other can be used to manipulate one another, and dominance, control, or jealousy easily become hot issues between you. Whether this is a brief passionate encounter for a lifelong attachment, you will change one another profoundly.

You arouse unusual, perhaps strange, feelings and yearnings in each other. You evoke feelings of sympathy, compassion, a sensitivity to music and poetry, dreamy romanticism, and perhaps even religious fervour. The dreamy, idealistic feelings that you stimulate in each other makes it nearly impossible for you to see each other in a realistic, objective light but this is not likely to bother either of you – your idealised dreamy love for each other is much more fun that realism! Recognise, however, that your partner does indeed have clay feet and do not expect Perfect Love from this relationship, or you will be sadly disillusioned.

No matter how practical and well-grounded the two of you are as individuals, together you have some real blind spots, things which you don't see clearly at all, or which you see through a haze of fantasy and hope. Deception and/or self-deception can undermine this relationship if you are not as clear, precise, and honest with one another as you can be. It would be extremely helpful if you can find an objective third party to give you some realistic feedback about one another or any problems that may come up between you. Financial business or other practical affairs which are joint endeavours should also be checked by a competent outside party.

One troublesome tendency the two of you have is to try to "save" one another. Attempts to rescue or play a "helpless" victim in need of rescuing work will not work out well. At your best, you enhance one another's sensitivity and evoke compassion and understanding in one another. At worst, you may deceive one another or create false images.

Your sexual compatibility leaves a lot to be desired. Although you are fascinated by each other, there are distinct differences about sexual experimentation.

This is a relationship that may have struck like lightning out of the blue, and that you always have an element of unexpected surprise, unpredictability, and uncertainty. You will not ever settle down into a peaceful secure, unchanging pattern with one another. If you both have a taste for adventure, and the capacity to adapt and move with the changes, this can be exciting.

many people will tell you that pisces and saggitarius do not mix, but that is a silly generalization. the fact is that pisces and sag understand each other VERY well, different though they may be. That is a great starting point. Sometimes there can be difficulties because sag is such a wanderer and pisces is such a home lover. if they can tolerate those qualities in each other then that will solve many of the potential problems.
Pisces is a sign that has a really close connection with a beautiful child-like sense of wonder, and saggis also share this. They can help each other see things with new eyes and they can find a lot of joy in each other that way.
Something else to keep in mind is that Sag is fire, and pisces is water. P needs to be careful not to dampen the fire too much and S needs to be careful not to boil P's water too much. But fire + water = steam. That can mean steamy and sexy but it can also mean clouded vision, too.

Pisces with Sagittarius

Both of you have vision and imagination, and neither of you likes to be hemmed in by material responsibilities. A deep concern with higher or deeper meaning in life can create a powerful bond.

You are also both flexible people, tolerant and willing to listen and understand points of view other than your own. This means that it's unlikely either of you will attempt to control the other or fall into power battles about who dominates whom.

But Sagittarius is fiery and Pisces is watery, and communication might be difficult at times. Pisces communicates obliquely, and sensitivity to atmosphere is more important than rational explanations. Sagittarius is open, honest, enthusiastic, and can sometimes blurt things out which can be hurtful. You both need to make an effort to understand each other's language and meet halfway.

There is also a dependence-independence issue between you. Although neither of you is possessive, Pisces needs a lot of emotional intimacy. Sagittarius needs a lot of freedom, and can easily feel caged.

Try to respect each other's emotional needs, even if this requires compromise. The chemistry between you is so promising that it's worth the effort.

Pisces & Sagittarius

When Sagittarius and Pisces join together in a love match, a relationship of realized dreams is formed. Sagittarius is more of a thinker and philosophizer, easily drifting around from one pursuit to the next. Pisces is more inward, involved in the shifting of their own mindscape. They are opposites in some respects, and to outsiders may seem an unlikely pair. But as their love for one another grows, they are more likely to be able to satisfy the philosophical cravings of the other and maintain a healthy relationship.

Sagittarius is outgoing and versatile, and in a relationship with Pisces often comes to the defense of their gentler partner. Pisces, in turn, gives Sagittarius subtle understanding and a place to escape from their tireless endeavors. Pisces is a Sign that, like Water, adapts easily to its surroundings; Pisces tends to focus much energy on understanding and sympathizing with their partner. They are often more patient with Sagittarius's aloofness than other Signs. Sagittarius's active pursuit of knowledge combines with Pisces's gentle compassion towards others to give both partners a self-awareness that doesn't pass into egocentricity and isn't overly accommodating, such as Pisces alone may be.

Sagittarius and Pisces are both ruled by the Planet Jupiter. Pisces is also ruled by Neptune. Jupiter brings exploration and outreach to both Signs. Pisces is concerned with this aspect in an abstract sense; they often find themselves trying to save the world (perhaps in the form of recycling or environmentalism). Sagittarius, on the other hand, prefers to broaden their horizons through academics. Neptune is about big pictures, ideas and illusions; but it's also involved with disillusion and fantasy. Sagittarius can help Pisces plant its feet on the ground. Jupiter works through Pisces to put a gentler touch on Sagittarius's occasional hotheaded outbursts.

Sagittarius is a Fire Sign and Pisces is a Water Sign. These two elements can form a great couple if they give in a little, using innate understanding of situations and people to get matters resolved. Pisces can offer Sagittarius direction and help them learn to be gentler, while Sagittarius teaches Pisces to go out and explore the world. This couple will enjoy traveling together. Pisces can be emotionally draining for the Archer at times, too much Water dampening Sagittarius's fiery spirit. Conversely, too much Fire can boil the Water and leave Pisces steaming. Sagittarius and Pisces must use their perceptive skills to enhance the relationship, always focusing on what the other needs.

Sagittarius and Pisces are both Mutable Signs. Neither partner feels a need to dominate the relationship. They enjoy equality and like to see their ideas come to fruition. Pisces gets great happiness from helping Sagittarius. Sagittarius and Pisces enjoy dreaming up ideas and putting them into action. No one is preoccupied with end results; for this couple, the fun is in the journey! A lack of conflict over roles helps Sagittarius and Pisces work toward the same goals with great success.

What's the best aspect of the Sagittarius-Pisces relationship? It's that they can benefit from one another's wisdom and at the same time get along so well together. Pisces shows Sagittarius how to empathize and care; Sagittarius teaches Pisces how to turn fantasy into reality! The ability of each to provide what the other lacks makes theirs a truly reciprocal relationship.

Any sign can be with any other sign! It all depends on your whole chart, based on your DATE, PLACE, EXACT TIME of birth, not just your Sun signs.

Your whole chart then is then compared to the other person's whole chart using a technique called Synastry.

The aspects between each other's planets and points must be looked at and interpreted. The planets in each others houses must be looked at and interpreted, both ways. Affinities must be looked for. It's not simple to a layperson, but it is to people who are educated in Astrology terminology.

Sun sign horoscopes are absolutely inaccurate to determine compatibility between two people.
