14 days after the first day of your period. It's also helps if your period is regular. also try to have sex a few days before and a few days after your ovulation cycle so you can be sure that you have the best chance of getting pregnant. Good Luck!

You can take one of those at home ovulation(sp?) tests to get a better idea of the best time, or you can ask your doctor to perform one. I wouldnt worry though, I have heard from alot of people that even if you get pregnant easily the first time you can have trouble the next. It took me like a week to get pregnant with my son but now that we are trying again it's been 3 months and still nothing! I geuss that's just the way it is sometimes.
Oh and also when you do find out what days you are most fertile try and not have sex the day before because I've heard(not completely sure if this is true) that you produce more effective sperm if you wait a couple days before having sex. But it was in a mag so it may not be the most reliable source.

Only if your period is a perfect 28day cycle will the 14 day rule work, but if it's not (like mine isn't) then this website could help you out http://www.mymonthlycycles.com/home.jsp . It shows the days that you are fertile (under Ovulation Calculator tab).
I too am trying to become pregnant (after a recent miscarriage), so I couldn't tell you if it's accurate but I figured I'd give it a try and hopefully it works.
The best of luck to you and your fiance!

Everyone thinks it is 14th day after your period but as all peoples cycles are different this is not accurate. You ovulate generally 14 days before your period arrives. So if you have a 30 day cycle then have sex days 15 16 and 17. One day before on the day of ovulation and on the next day. If it has been two years you might be best of to go see a doctor

well, that's hard to say, i know everyone is telling to count 14 days after your period, but everyone woman don't ovulate on a 28 day cycle, the 14 day is when your cycles are 28 days long, so there are other methods you can use, like taking your temperature, and checking your cervical mucus, and cervical position, plus use opk's (ovulation tests kits), so other than that, it would be hard to tell when your ovulating each month? and for as the person who said wait until your married, what differents does it make, what ever is going to happen, will happen reguardless if your married are not, you wait until your married and watch you will still have a hard time getting pregnant! it's not as easy as everyone think, just to have sex and get pregnant, everything happens in god's timing, if your married are not!

Figure out the length of your cycle from the first day of your period to the first day of your next period. Divide this number by 2. This is the number of days after the first day of your period that you should be ovulating. You should have a window of about 5 days, the day you calculated, the 2 days before that, and the 2 days after that. Good luck!!

The best time is the time that you are ovulating. To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 5 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.
