first of all im 16. and i like my guy friend, i've know him almost all my life but were not exactly best friends. we became better friends last year and i like him now. how would i know if he likes me back because hes a shy guy. and telling me to just tell him is kinda hard cuz im a really shy person and i have a fear of rejection, and i dont want to lose the friendship. so could u help?

Sweety it is ok to be shy, but you have to speak up sometimes. I am a shy person myself, but when needed I muster up some good ol courage and go for a sheepish question and get my answer. Telling him you like him would be a good approach, but try asking him if it would be ok to start being closer.

I think that this is so sweet because it reminds me of me and my husband. I knew my husband when I was a little kid. We had to move away and I never thought I would see him again. I met him again when I was 15 and wasn't really a good friend with him at that time. As the years slowly began to pass our friendship became stronger and stronger. Both of us felt attracted to each other but both of us were afraid to make the first move because we didn't want to jeopardize our friendship. When I was 19 and he was 21 we finally sat down and talked about how we felt. I told him that I didn't want to lose him as a friend and he agreed. We also both decided that we wanted more. We were married 6 months after that and have been married ever since. That was 15 years ago and to be honest with you I will never be happier with anyone other than him. When we argue( like all married couples) we fall back to the foundation of our friendship. So my advise to you would be to let nature take its course. I would call him and talk to him and still be his friend and when the time is right for you then you will know it and so will he. Good Luck and Thanks for taking me down memory lane.

Let him know you think he's cute and that you like him. Go on and try to kiss him sometime. Its hard and may make you feel uneasy but it will let you know if he likes you. Dont be upset if at first he is shocked it is just a natural response. If he does not go for it you can always say it was nothing and play it off. But give him a day or so to think. Dont just kiss him and then say "oh I guess that was stuped" dont, give him some time to think about it. Good Luck!!

ok dude for authentic why do you care a lot about labeling your self? Who cares once you're gay, instantly, bi, or something in between? that is not plausible to label sexuality, because it flows. that is diverse for all and distinctive, and doubtless this may be the purely guy you ever like, yet for now, in basic terms bypass with it, do what feels excellent, and provides you up annoying about the outcomes.

Just be yourself. Be friends with him a little longer. Then you guys will feel more comfortable around eachother. When that happens, tell him how you feel. For all we know, he just might be asking the same question on Yahoo! Answers!! :)

maybe just asking him wouldnt b the right chose so kinda give him hints to make him know that u like him and if he ask you just tell him yes, im shy too but im a guy so its worst for me. i mean girls are prey , guys are preditors so its harder for me, do u have any suggestions for me?

make a move....write him and then u won't be there when he reads it then see how he acts knowin u do when u come back around him.....have a friend tell him..... if ur shy there is 3 ways to let him know......

i deal with this everyday my friends always bring there relationship things to me idk y lol but um try havin a friend ask him or flirt with him and overly show that u like him i can pretty much guarantee that u wont ruin ur friendship with him
