Ok a question for those of you who have been in a relationship for a number of years, is true love A)getting along mostly all of the time, NEVER questioning your feelings for each other, you just KNOW its meant to be or B) knowing that you care for each other, fighting, having really good days & really bad days & questioning is this really the right person for me? I love my boyfriend & I know he loves me, we've been together 3 years. I am a very cautious person & the fact that I have a few doubts here & there scares me. Is it normal to have doubts or not?

If your boyfriend loves you, why don't you ask him before you ask the world? If it is true love, he is bound to understand you and reassure you of his love and that everything is okay. It is wise to be cautious but don't overdo it. Is your idea of 'True Love' absolute bliss, totally devoid of pain? Surely not. If the good days are still worth it despite the bad ones, you may be on grounds that could pave the way to growth and greater happiness.

However if you are unable to share with him your troubles, you might want to work at it or rethink the whole relationship. It cannot be said that you have love (let alone true love) if you are unable to be honest with each other.

I think its normal to have doubts, just, not too many. I guess it depends on what kind of doubt your having and in what part of your relationship those doubts are taking place if its all the fights or misunderstandings. it all depends. so just dont have too many doubts. and the doubts your having is probably good because your thinking about how you want to live and be with that person. so doubts are okay.

I know exactly what you are going through!
Simple doubs are normal.
I have them all the time. It doesnt mean its not working out, its just you being careful with your feelings.
Love is doing A and B.
When you have doubts talk with your partner and discuss them until you feel better.

I think small doubts are normal. On the other hand if you have the urge to punch him in the mouth every time he comes in the room its time to move on.

B... it's normal... you just got to compromise! Not give in... but find a solution that will please both of you. Good luck.
