ok, i thought it could just be mine so i wasnt sure, and yes myspace is obsessive and yes like everyone else i sometimes get excited when i have a new comment or such on it what can i say?

MySpace Power Outage shuts down site
Myspace.com posted an announcement tonight at 6:40PM PST time that their data center had a power outage. Tom went on to post the following message:
"hey everyone! there's been a power outage in our data center. we're in the process of fixing it right now, so sit tight. hopefully we'll be back online within the hour. its 6:40pm PST now. wanna place a bet? -Tom"
There were many bets placed to Tom and he has lost since it is now 9:40PM PST

Nobody's is. Power outage in LA, cause Myspace to become unstable. They're working on it. That's what the message from Tom said about an hour ago. But it went down again soon after.

I was on it earlier today. On their website it stated that there was a power outage in LA that affected the area and the location of where the MySpace servers are located. The battery back-up system failed so they're asking everyone to be patient until things are back to operating normally.

Mine is not loading either- it says the server is down. Must be something to do with the power outage, which might have been caused by overuse of electricity through air conditioners (because of the intense heat) or a storm.

I think thats the general concensis Myspace has been sucking lately with that! I think that around this time at night everyones trying to access it.

Doesn't it stink? Oh well...that's what we get for being so obsessed with a website, and basically being attention whores. Come on, even if you don't post bulletins that say "Hey guyzzz!! New pics! Comments pleasssse XOXO", you still get really excited when you see you have a new message or comment.
