So there is this 13 year old boy who I think is totally cute..When i'm over visitng his sister his dad is always like oh she's good looking and oh you two should go out..blah blah..and he recently asked me out..I'm a 16 year old girl although..i'm not sure what to do..everyone says we should go out and we are cute together..I'm stuck..Help Me!!!!

First you shouldn't let people pressure you like that! You need to look at every problem from all sides. I mean just imagine he was just in elementary school three years ago!
The thing of it is, is that he will get all the props for hooking up with a girl much older than him. You want to concentrate on school more than a 13 year old who has yet to fully mature. Dads just want to brag about their sons dating and being macho to other dads.
If he was your father I bet he would totally reject the idea of you dating a younger boy or even dating period.

In my opinion 13 is too young for a 16 year old. In fact one shouldn't start dating until around 16. A 13 year old still thinks it's funny to say potty words, (especially boys), for crying out loud. They are too immature. It's hard enough trying to have a relationship with boys your own age who are still less mature than girls. Personally I think there is something wrong with the dad who thinks his thirteen year old son should be dating a sixteen year old. Most dads want to protect their children from the world of dating and will tell their sons things like, be careful, many girls are just going to try to use you for your money, or whatever you have to offer or just want to get experience or whatever. Not to mention the fear of your son getting accused of statutory rape. I find the dad's reaction to you quite creepy. It just sounds like a situation you need to avoid all together. Don't get tangled up in this mess.

If you are ok with dating someone who is 13 i say go for it but what's wrong with the boys your age or maybe even a year older?

13 is young. 16 is ................. You should wait until you are 18 to have a boyfriend. You dont want to ruin the poor kid. If you like him try it, but remember he is really young and you are just going to end up finding out he is too young to date. So good luck!

OK depends how mature for his age he is. i m like 33 so don't remember boys that age. i personally prefer young boy. lol
but hey listen go with your heart if it does't look funny if he doesn t look immature etc then you shouldn't have any problems. what you got to remember society is very judgmental but you do what feels right for you . and good luck

maybe you should wait til he's like 15 or 16. cause 16 and a 13 year old? dont look too good. kinda looks stagetory. i mean, i know its not but still. y'all should wait awhile.

Think about if he we really pair up with you.
'Totally cute' only gets you so far.
I think he would need to be extremely mature to date someone your age. If you think he is mature and that you two would match up fine regardless of the age difference...then power to you.

So??? If you like him and you think he is cute, what does it matter???? I'm 25 years old and have dated all different ages of guys......EVEN YOUNGER.......with my first love I was 17 and he was 14.....same difference. Go for it!
