Try a spot treatment with 3% benzoyl peroxide in it. Works wonders by penetrating the affected pore (because all pimples are caused by infected/irritated pores). Use 3% for a couple weeks and GRADUALLY work yourself up to 5%. In A CREAM base. A good thing to do first is go for a facial with an aesthetician at a spa. ITs like deep cleaning your face, to get as much of the crap off your face and out of your pores as possible. It is a good start for clearing up acne. There is also a line of product called Dermologica thats awesome. Expensive, but lasts forever, and works wonders! OR try Pevonia product. ITs great too.

I have found an excellent line of products! The key is a healthy DAILY skin care regimen. "Kiss My Face" line of products are all natural, botanical based, no oils, no animal products, no stuff you don't want. They have an acne treatment that is very good, but I strongly recommend it be used in conjunction with the Start Up daily cleanser, and the Pore Shrink deep pore cleansing mask. The mask has an ingredient that draws toxins out of the pores: but be warned... the first few times you use it, you'll definitely know it! It will get pretty minty feeling on your face and sting some. Stick with it until it dries. It's worth every second!!! It used to be carried at the Vitamin Shop, but they discontinued the line. Many health food stores carry it, and I recently found it on Amazon. I personally also use the So Refined scrub, the C The Change ester C serum, and the Under Age cream. The ester C and the Under Age won't likely be needed by you. Prices are good. I switched to it from using Estee Lauder and have the best skin of my life for hundreds less a year. Good luck!!

Here are some REALLY good, and very inexpensive ways to treat most acne at home. Try each method (unless you’re allergic to the ingredients) until you find one that works best for you. Good luck =) BTW, I know some of these may sound bizarre but try them…what have you got to lose other than the acne!!
1. Put toothpaste on your acne before going to bed. (Make sure it is paste not gel). It should reduce the swelling of acne noticeably.
2. Dab egg whites on your acne and leave on for 20 minutes or overnight. It’s supposed to pull the infection out of the blemish.
3. Wash acne infected areas twice a day with warm salt water. This reduces oils in the skin and helps to dry the acne up without further agitation.
4. Use ice on acne before going to bed. This works best on pimples that have not yet formed a head. It reduces swelling and helps to prevent scarring.
5. Wash and dab acne with cotton balls that have been soaked in vinegar. Let dry; do not wash off immediately.
6. Place strawberries leaves over your acne and the alkalinity will help to reduce the swelling.

i am 24 and have acne since i was 16. ( i have it undercontrol now). I started off with those over the counter creams but i overused them and they irritated my skin. I use diffferin gel and an antibodic that are over the counter. If you cant afford to go to a dermatologist try cetephil (not sure of spelling) It is very gentle and soothing for you skin. Another important thing is to not over wash. Drink plenty of water and get your sleep. People say that greasy food and chocolate may cause outbreaks... not sure about that. but stress plays a role in acne for me. where is your acne the worst?????

Drink 2 liters of water every day. I know, it's a lot, and you'll pee all the time, but I swear it works. I was on all kinds of pills and creams for acne for years, I was even on Accutane, which worked well, but didn't get rid of all of my acne. Then, I started drinking 2 liters of water a day, and it's like a miracle! I get a zit maybe once a month. Try it!

Velocity from Mary Kay works. My son uses it (when he remembers). It's for teenagers and young adults. Contact a consultant and ask for a sample. The set sells for $22 (plus tax). It lasts about 2 months. Use it morning and at night.
It's also 100% guaranteed.
