once upon a time a long time ago i used winmx and loved it. the one day it just stopped working and i find out from friends that it's been shut down. now i see that it's back. is the new version any good? who's used it? just like the old one? better?

there's a version of winmx that you have to pay for but if you goto www.mxpie.com you can get the free one and download the latest patch and start trading files again

As far as I know, there's no "new" version of WinMX.
What's happening is that someone has patched the last known version of WinMX to use public servers.

i loved winmx it was teh firest file sharing prog i used!
yeah, then it dorpped out of existance damnit!
