My absolute favorite show of all time! My favorite character is Henry Blake, too bad he was only around for 3 seasons. I like Charles, too - the episode with the French horn was hilarious!

i presumed Frank Burns changed into the funniest, even with the very incontrovertible certainty that i don't think of we'd want to be perfect acquaintances. FWIW Henry Blake went to my undergraduate alma mater, in some episodes he wears a school of Illinois sweater. Father Francis Mulch went to my grad college Alma mater. In a minimum of one episode he wears a Loyola sweatshirt. HA HA I only notivced that spell verify lopped off the end of Mulchahy!

Klinger was awesome.....all those crazy costumes and antics to try and get himself discharged.....and in the end he ends up falling in love with a Korean chick and stayin back in Korea.....talk about ironic

Hawkeye was the womanising doctor that is to blame for all those we have today.....i work in a hospital and have it on good regard that he is the inspiration for many male doctors ......lolz.....he is a legend....quick-witted, smart ***! He MADE the show what is was!

Gotta love Klinger! He may not have had great legs, but his taste in dresses was superb! (And, he had a great heart - case in point - how he decided, at the end of the war, to NOT leave Korea because his new bride wanted to find her family.)

I loved how "Hot Lips" evolved on the show. She started out pretty one dimensional, and, as time went on, her character grew.

Hawkeye - I know it was scripted, but the smart-assed hilarity and quick wit were sensational.
