I used to have this Clinique foundation that worked WONDERS- it completely covered up any blemish on my skin, while medicating acne. As my luck has it, the Clinique stopped making it. Now, I can't find anything that covers my blemishs at all! Being 17, with my puberty and hormones going crazy, I really need something that works- anybody know of anything?

Bare Minerals is absolutely the best make up I have ever used. I am much older than you but I have had bad skin for years. I use Clinique also but never liked their foundation. I finally tried the Bare Minerals powder foundation and it is amazing! It totally covers my freckles, blemishes and even a red scar I have on my nose that I have NEVER been able to completely cover. My skin breaks out less since I started using it too! They claim you can sleep in it because it is all natural so it wont break out your skin. I did not believe it so I tried it and .....I did not break out!!! I was very impressed! It also stays on amazingly well. I tested it by wearing it one day out on the boat. I went in the water, applied sunscreen and it was still on when I got home!

You can buy it at Sephora or online. Seriously, give it a try. The cost is not much more than Clinique.

I use Almay Clear Complexion concealer and foundation, and it works great! Aside from the fact that it really covers everything well, it has medicine in it to help heal the blemishes. And it costs a heck of a lot less than Clinique. Try it out and see what you think!

Mary Kay's Dual Coverage foundation is the same thing as Bare Minerals for only $14.

With acne, I would suggest the Med Coverage liquid foundation. It provides good coverage, it's buildable, noncomedogenic, and controls oil.

You can find a consultant in your area at www.marykay.com. She'll come to your house and help you pick out the right shade, and the products are 100% guaranteed.

Use a thin water based foundation. If you need a concealor use something that is not a thick oily one.
When your not wearing makeup try Aveeno the natural soap on your face. Then splash with icy cold water. (works great for me)

Clarins! I love it and it covers up blemishes better than any other foundation that I have ever tried!

I love Prescriptives, they have very light foundations, not at all clogging. Now if you want to really mattify try Estee Lauder's Double Matte foundation. It really sucks up the oil...

Bare Essentials works really good! I use it all the time and it covers up pretty much everything! the only bad part is that it is kind of expensive.

Well anything that doesn't clog your pores and is oil free. I love Lise Watier it is so light and feels great on my skin. It also doesn't plug it up.
