I do 30 squats and lunges a day. It has toned my buttocks and made them firmer, and trimmed them down so they are slightly smaller and more shapely.
I lose weight very easily off my buttocks though, might be different depending on your body type.

Do squats and lunges. They'll make your thighs and butt tight and keep em from getting hail damage!

When one firms up it generally means that the tissues,muscles and such have no excess ....IE skin will tighten,fat will be absorbed muscles will tighten....so I think it would make your gluteus maximus smaller.

firm first, then if you keep doing it, bigger. try lunges.
