i have a bump, on my crotch. its kinda big, and it feels like a bubble almost. its pinkish purplish, but more towards skin color. does anyone know what this could be?

it inflates sometimes. it will be deflated for a while, but inflates again. and its on the top of my crotch, not inside dont worry.

ive had it for about a month, and it came when i shaved, thats why i thought it was an ingrown hair, but it still hasnt dissapeared.

I get the exact same thing. I get one at a time, and usually it gets about as big as an M & M. I went to the gynecologist when I got my first one about 10 years ago, and he said it's a pimple. It will eventually go away on its own, but sometimes it bugs me so much I pop it, and the doctor said it's okay if I do that. Putting a warm compress on it, like a washcloth with hot tap water, helps a lot. I doubt very much it is an STD, but it never hurts to get checked. Sorry to gross anyone out, but the human body isn't as beautiful and perfect as the magazines and TV want you to believe.

There are three things that come to mind when I hear this.
1. An ingrown hair.
Yes, it sounds gross, but if you recently shaved/waxed down there it may be an ingrown hair. Wait a couple of days and it should get a white or yellowish head on it, pop it and get the hair out and it should be OK.
2. Acne.
Oh, the places acne will go. Anywhere at all a pore is on your skin. If it is acne, treat it as such and it will go away.
3. Genetal warts.
I beleive this is also the HPV virus, if I were you if you rule out the other two, or are sexually active, or even have an inkling of an idea that this may be it, go to your doctor.

It sounds like an ingrown hair to me. get out a needle and some tweezers and start digging. I just pulled an ingrown hair out of my husband butt(he would die if he knew I was telling everyone this) it was huge and sideways lying. He said once it was out it let off soo much pressure and healed up really fast. if that doesn't work go to the dr

It could be a boil, My friend had one that looked like what yours sound like. Or it could be an std called Hpv that causes warts but doubt it highly. Have an OB/gyn check it out just to be on the safe side

First you need to be more specific where it is located exactly. Also when you got it and if it has always been the same size. Then maybe we can help you solve this question. But I do think that you need to see your doctor about this.

i just had something very similar sounding to this...mine was not on my crotch, but upper inner thigh--right on my underwear line. had it for about 3 wks, today was white, so i opened it with a pin and squeezed a bunch of gunk out...almost gone now.
