Twisted Sister -- what were those videos -- they were so much fun! Actually, so was Quiet Riot's *** on Feel The Noise.
These three videos were stupid fun -- you know, kind of over the top, but as a teenager I loved them.
Scandal - The Warrior - just 'cause my mom hated it... she didn't really notice the song until she saw the video, then it was devil's music.
Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer -- isn't that the greatest video of all time -- it was so creative.
Oh... and we can't forget Springsteen - Dancing in the Dark -- man he had a hot butt. The song was great too -- and as a bonus it launched Courtney Cox's career.

******Gotta give JK, The Dude, and Andrea props -- all are great choices.

The Safety Dance--Men Without Hats
Don't Come Around Here No More--Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
It's a Beautiful World--Devo

Devo had a tongue in cheek message, the rest were just good colorful fun!

Dire Straits- Money for Nothing. Does anything else epitomize the 80's more than crappy animation and the uber-MTV slogan "I want my MTV" repeated at great length towards the end?

Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer is a close second. Very innovative for its time.

"Money for Nothing" by Dire Straits is one of the best videos of 80s due to the expensive animation that would now be very basic to do and the references to MTV and the music powerhouse that it once was.

"Video Killed the Radio Star" by The Buggles
because that was like the video that defined the 80's
as it was the first video aired on MTV.

a lot of people seem to like a-ha and it was a good video but the song sucked.

smugglers blues by glen frey is the only video of the day that actually had something to do with the song.
