For me, it's all those movies where it turns out the main character imagined everything. For example, in Hide and Seek Robert De Niro's character thought there was some murderer out there and it turns out it was him......also in The Secret Window with Johnny Depp it also turned out to be him. There's more like that but I can't remember off the top of my head.

Seems like movies do that a lot....completely unoriginal.

Wow you're right I completely forgot about The Village! No, for me the entire movie was bad, not just the ending. Too bad...M. Night Shyamalan started off pretty well in his career but after seeing The Village, I'm hesitant to go see any more of his movies

True, the Mean Girls ending was just dumb. I have no idea where that came from and at first I thought it was some kind of joke.

Con-Air with Nick Cage. Pretty smart and well balanced movie.. until the end turns into a scene from a bad Arnold Movie.
Twister.. I mean c'mon. They would have been shredded when that shed they were in was destroyed.
A.I. ....JUST END THE FRIGGIN MOVIE!!!
Fight Club...killing your evil alter ego by shooting yourself in the head? Sure. I'm certain the AMA would sign off on that one.
AND you are right... Hide and Seek sucked at the end and not only because of the "plot twist". It devolved into totally predictable drivel.

I recently watched "The Lake House" and b/c I watch a lot of sci-fi movies the ending was completely screwed up. The girl that I took to it laughed at me because she said that the entire movie was unbelievable. I told her that if you accept the "premise" the rest should follow through which this movie did not.

The Butterfly effect was a great movie then the ending sucked really bad. He took his own life...thats stupid, and the alternet ending wasn't much better
