I've been using it for a while, no problem.
I have even downloaded movies but they seem to be poor quality.

It's a long story. But the short version is this: If LimeWire were illegal, it would be shut down.

What it is, is peer-to-peer file sharing. It's like lending someone a CD, in a way. This is why thus far it is still legal.

You can actually go to LimeWire and read about what on their site may be considered copyright infringement: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/ftc.shtml#8f

ok so to stay on the safe side heres wht u do:

1)dont download things that havnt come out..you'll be definetley screwed if you do it.maybe not the first time but after a couple downloads they'll catch you.

2)re-install your limewire after you download over 500 items.

ps-instead of buying limewire pro...try actually downloading it from your basic limewire just scan the downloads before opening them for viruses...if it has a virus it'll be destroyed after you scan the it so dont fret and try another source.

pps-download the limewire acceleration patch using limewire itself..it'll help the program run smoothly and it'll give you faster download speed=]

Limewire is fine. However, it is not the safest program in terms of viruses. Be extremely careful with what you download. I had to remove Limewire from my computer because it caused major damage...Good luck!

I am using limewire for personal use. I don't think that would cause a problem.

Who cares, just use it. You can also try www.shareza.com

Don't worry about it, I download all kinds of crap, they can sue me, I don't care.
