Well they're all right... but if you really want to be thourough, after you delete the history and go to tools>> internet options, theres a button that says delete cookies, also a button that says delete files( remember to check the box"delete all offline content". Got that so far? Okay now there is a tab on the internet options that says content. You want to clear the SSL state and also clear auto-complete forms.
The thing is, if whoever you're trying to hide from is used to seeing things being completed as they type, this WILL be noticed.
So basically, you're screwed. Sorry! no, no, no...you can always say you were tidying up. No, you're screwed. I don't know! good luck!
P.S. I do this every day, but it happens to make the 'puter seem to run a smidge quicker.

Go to your history, view by date, right click and click delete the day, or you can delete the individual site.
Also clear the temporary internet files as mentioned above

Some stuff will not be cleared by clearing history alone. Go to your drives by: My Computer -- then right click on your DRIVE -- then go to PROPERTIES -- then click on DISK CLEAN UP then -- put a check in everything you want to clean up. Do this along with clearing history and it will clear all the junk out from the Internet.

If you have a PC computer. Then you go to the top of the internet explorer, and go to top where it says tools, internet options, then clear history, or clear cookies...you should be able to find it all there!

right click on the internet explorer icon on your desk top. scroll down to "properties", click on that. When the window opens at the bottom there should be a button that says: clear history. Hit that and you are done!
