Because we're full of pride and have no humility. It's easier to point the finger at someone else than confront our own flaws and misdeeds. Simple as that.
"...pull the log out of your own eye before trying to remove the bit of sawdust in someone else's."

because most people are in denial about themselves and most of them don't have the concept of self-awareness.
Truly looking at yourself can be the more scary thing in the whole world but once you can come to terms with yourself there is a whole new world of perspective that you can discover.

i think people are defined more by what others say. you can't be sure how you come across to anyone, but when they tell you, it makes it more clear. otherwise, people always THINK they're one way or another, without it necessarily being true. you envision you understand your own place, and expressions, and outward communication. and there is a natural tendency to want others to be like you, so it's easy to comment when they're not.

People dont like to find fault with them selves. Even a person with low self esteem will still try to find fault with others. Its easier to think negatively than positively.

Why are you so afraid of being "judged"? Do you feel like you've done something wrong in acting the way you do? I'll f*ckin' say anything.

Do you realize how difficult it is to actually look upon ourselves as we truly are? If we admit to our own frailties and mistakes, we admit we are imperfect. That requires a great deal of courage. More often we are inlined to find fault with others.

People who are extremely judgmental of others HAVE already done an introspective of themselves... they didn't like the answer.
So they choose to critique others instead.

It's a lot easier to point out somebody elses faults, than it is to look in the mirror and see your own.
