I see it especially in the younger crowd. At what age is it okay for girls to wear their clothes tightly?

I think women in general tend to wear their clothes too tightly. It possibly stems from some women not wanting to be honest about their true clothing size, and trying to fit into trends that are made for smaller-sized women. Hence, we get the "muffin top" phenomenon, when womens' stomachs hang out and over their pants' tops. Also, the third and fourth breasts (from wearing a bra too small), and many lines running vertical across the front and back of their pants legs (because of pants too tight). BUT, I don't think it's ever okay for a woman/girl to wear their clothes too tightly, unless they are very skinny/bony and it doesn't look unrespectable and trashy.

I think it is sad when you see elementary girls wearing slutty clothes and showing of their bodies to little boys who still think girls have cooties. Girls in america have lost their sense of modesty and think their only chances of attracting males is by showing of their stuff. I personally don't think it is ok, but if i had to choose an appropriate age, it would be 17. can you believe parents let their kids leave the house wearing stuff like that?

Some of us do, some of us don't. Depends on body type and occasion. As a mother myself, I personally don't want my daughter wearing anything too tight or revealing until she's 40!!! But as long as she's not dressing like a whore, she can wear when she wants, however she wants to.

girls go through puberty offly early, and an effect of puberty is increased hormones, which reflect the affection and relations with the opposite sex. since many girls may go through puberty at around 11 or 12... they will find that their affections towards the opposite sex increases, more than wat it did before...
thus... they want to also attract the opposite sex, males, to them... because their attracted to them.
so, by wearing tight cloths, and dressing fairly slutty, as some may call... they feel they can better attract the males to them... which incases does haplpen.
so, whenever a girl hits puberty... its' not always the prettiest site! but if their parents say "ok" than, they're allowed!

Before age 12 is cute. After age 21 sexy. In between not cool, especially if it is your daughter.

i don't know if there's any specific age, because i think it looks a little tacky all together... no offense. a lot of younger girls think it's a great way to get guys' attention.. but it really makes them look like they're trying too hard. if you want to get a guys' attention.. just be you. don't get uncomfortable clothing that's too small just because you think it'll make your boobs look bigger. people need to learn to get the right size for their body.

yes they wear them tight to say to the world hey look i got boobs now take me lol and then the fat gals wear things to tight as they they are in denial of being fat an some just dont care they think it look sexy.. it is not classy by no means it is trendy .. trends come and go .. i go by what looks good color and style and cut of the clothing can say it all./

yes i think some of them are. i mean if they have the body then go ahead flaunt what you got but if you are a big girl then please don't for everyone sake. i don't care if you have alot of confidence we don't wanna see it. and i know no one wants to see me in skin tight clothes.
17 is a fine age..
you see so many young girls getting pregnant these days and my guess it has to do with the clothes. i mean they wanna act older but they arn't ready.

not everyone dresses the same. but lately ive noticed a lot of middle school and highschool girls dressing like streetwalkers. how can their parents let them out of the house like that.
