a ruptured tubal ligation that i almost internally bled to death from i didnt even know that i was prego i just knew i was in pain but i ignored it for days until i could no longer walk only then did i go to an er where they did an internal sonogram and my whole body came up off the table and they wouldnt give me any kind of pain killer until they knew what was goin on i had surgery and the next morning the surgeon told me that i had a sack of blood inside me about the size of a cantaloupe and that it was pressing on nerves goin to my legs causing me not to be able to walk he also said that if i would have waited a few more hours to go to the er i would have died so the pain that made me finally go to the er was the worst and the best physical pain i ever want to experience

My 1st kidney stone took 2 days to pass. I was living on a houseboat in Red Hook, (E. end of St. Thomas USVI). My wife took me to the doctor who sent me home and said drink cranberry juice to build up pressure to make it pass. The strong pills he gave me did no good. No position I got in relieved the pain. It was a fleeting pain, as sometimes it did not hurt at all. But it always returned.
I went back to the doc next day and he checked me into the hospital. (I forgot to mention that I could keep nothing down, no way did the c juice stay down) The doc figured...put me on an IV and the pressure would build up for sure...it did! This time I had injections of Demerol, which did help a lot. At midnight, 20 minutes after my injection and with the added pills I took, feeling no pain at all, I stood up and leaned into a corner with a urinal in my hands. I had been feeling the need to pee and now that I had prepared myself for the 'Passing'; I relaxed and let happen what would happen. ... Sure enough I passed it and felt it move I nun know 6 or 8 inches before I spat it out, so to speak. No pain ...wa hoo no pain just relief.
.I had it analyzed and results were too much meat and milk!
So happens I have passed twice more since then about a year later and no pain, I had either passed the largest one 1st or I enlarged the passageway enough so no pain resulted.
..Still it is / was the greatest pain of all and I have had broken my collar bone and a femur so watch out for too mush meat and milk

Pain is a strange thing. Burning a finger or stubbing a toe can hurt all night, but when I shattered my wrist into 20 pieces (bones sticking out), I didn't feel anything at all. I guess I was just into "operation mode," and I realized that pain would be a disability in getting necessary medical help. I do not think the worst physical pain can come close to the mental anguish many of us have suffered. Merry Christmas, and all the best to you and your loved ones. And be careful!

When I was 17 my friend drove into a train..no kidding. I was in the passenger seat. Car fishtailed and rammed in my end. Broke my femur, shattered my elbow, cracked my sternum, broke a rib, my collar bone, my kneecap, lacerated the subclavean artery in my neck.. The girl in the backseat drove her leg through the seat and slammed into my back so I had huge bruises and 11 years later I still suffer from back and neck problems. Just had 3 surgeries in the last 2 years stemming from that accident. That was some pain. Worse than childbirth and it sticks with me to this day.

definitely natural childbirth. i actually thought i could handle it, but during the contractions, all i could think was that i would never want my little girl to go through this much pain. of course, 2 years & 2 months later i did it all over again. i was in so much pain once i reached to hospital, i decided to get an epidural, only to find out it was too late - i waited too long to get there & was already 7 centimeters dilated - lucky me!! the upside? the baby came just 45 minutes later!!

i had a breast reduction when i was 19 years old (i'm 22 now) and that was THE WORSE pain ever. my chest was swollen and sore for about 2 1/2 weeks and i couldn't lift my arms above my stomach because of the profuse pain that would shoot throughout my body, plus i wasn't allowed to because i may have torn the stitches (over 200 externally and over 50 internally). horrible!! i couldn't wash my hair, brush my hair, put on deodorant, etc. because of the pain for about 3 weeks-i had to get my momma to do it for me.
