Is that normal or I am I short for my age I turned 12 in April.

i had a growth spurth already at 11 i was 4 foot 5 1/2 inches.so i grew like 3 inches

Honey, you will stop growing at the age of 19, so you still have about 8-13 more inches to grow. You are just fine the heighth you are. Be happy with who God made you to be. There are advantages to being short and tall. Live with it in happiness regardless how tall or short you are.

You are short! You probably won't get much taller, but it depends. When you get to a certain age, you stop growing then you aren't just "short for your age", you become short for a woman! Hopefully you will still grow at least a few inches because you are really short! I think I stopped growing when I was your age! Boys on the other hand, will get growth spurts through their late teens!
I just read a doctor say that girls usually stop growing between 1-3 years after they start their period! If you haven't gotten it yet, then you will still grow some. If you've already gotten it, depending on how long ago, you probably won't get much taller.

I think I was 13-14 at your height.
I just turned 16 and I am 5 Feet 5 Inches.

You just haven't had your growth spurt (excuse the spelling) yet is all. I was pretty tall for all of my ages but now everyone is catching up. Any height is pretty normal really...unless you are a midget (no offence to any midgets) You'll get taller soon. Don't worry =D

That sounds about right to me... not that I'm an expert! But when I was 12, I was around 5'6" -- I'm all grown up and 5'11" now, so really tall! You will probably be petite, but still of average height.

I've always felt shorter too but late you'll probably have a big growths spurt.

As a matter of fact... You'll probably end up around 5'5" to 5"8.

yeah it is u gonna keep growing. i was around that height too. now im 15 (turning 16 in december) and im 5'4"
