There is a lot of great music to choose from....
My favorite band is Oasis...probably because of the music, the mood the music always puts me in, and the revolution. Anyone else?

Green Day was a huge rock/punk/alternative band in the 90's and still r i love them they made a huge impact

They didn't really develop their alternative rock sound until their fouth album (their first three were ska, which I guess is a form of alt. rock) but my favorite is No Doubt. They've had a huge impact on me personally and have ifluenced a lot of other bands too.

Lots of great bands but a band that did things different....was LUSH. Oasis was good but hardly original.....Nirvana was an important band too but nothing that wasn't heard before but they did have style!!!

"Nirvana". They solely kicked off the grunge movement of the 90s.
