I have taken some lessons from the department of Parks and Recreation, but I want to get more in depth into the only western Martial art.

Not exactly sure if there's one within ten miles of there, but I'm fairly certain you'll find something if you check out the USFA webpage and http://www.usfencing.org Also check out the So-cal division site at: http://socalfence.org/ Fencing.net is another good resource.
