Why wont the US support the refugees in Dafur against Sudan when they can help Israel?

The West has undeveloped Africa as theyb did many parts of Asia.Till today small arms and mines are sold with other heavier military equipment by the West to Africa without no conscience that these ares are used in intra state fighting, many times supported by Western powers.Example would be the USA support for the War Lords-terrorists in Somalia and the French assistance to many of their former colonies to destabilize governments that are not partisan to their economic interest.And of course China who is taking over African economy who sold machettes to Rawanda for their genocide and is selling arms to Sudan while raping the oil from that state.

Monkey man- Nuclear weapons were created to defend ourselves from countries like Iran, China and Russia...what the F are YOU talking about??!!! Israel is a GREAT ally!! They provide countless amounts of classified information on Middle East issues.

Ulterior-The reason the world makes no TRUE effort to help African countries is because those countries make no TRUE effort to be succesful. They only want handouts and debt relief. As much resources as they have with diamonds and oil, they are too greedy and hateful to help themselves. The first step for the leaders, warlords, militias, (heroin addicts), and it's murdering/raping population is to want to become a prosperous and succesful peoples. Stop being a whiny DEMOCRAT and stop asking others to fix the problems for others. Instead of asking those with the problems to get their shti right and MAKE AN EFFORT TO HELP THEMSELVES. Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia and S. Korea have nothing to offer the U.S.A much less the world, and yet, we have been in those countries for DECADES helping them get their **** right. Now, what is your excuse? By the way, you say we could use the money we give Israel in one year to stabilize the region in Sudan? Are you insane or what??!! Have you any idea how much humanitarian help in dollar amounts goes to Africa? Or how much money is GIVEN and LOANED to Africa? Or how much debt relief has been given to Africa?
VINCHAN- I would guess, that the biggest reason is that Darfur is a region that is unstable and 'uncivilzed' and therefore would require a tremendous effort of the kind we cannot even begin to collect the effort to stabilize. We have no MAJOR operation taking place there and will require too much material and time. Israel and Lebanon, on the other hand, are very close geographically AND politically to our situation in Iraq, Afghanistan and Iran. Locations where we have a tremendous commitment in and so much started and at stake. This region MUST be stable for us to accomplish our goals in this area.

It's a very good question and I think you should ask them.
I think it is becuase they sincerely do not care what happens to people in Sudan. Southeern Sudan has now been an autonomous region for a year now. The region is scarred from war and people lives are still extremely hard. With the amount of money that we give to Israel in one year, we could rebuild the whole region and make sure that their elections for independence go without incident.

Check your facts. The US is the #1 supplier of food aid in Darfur and is working towards a diplomatic solution. Maybe the US could do more, but at present the US is doing more than any other Western country is.
