Dune .. by Frank Herbert
Actually, there is a series of 6 Dune books.....gotta read them all.

I have so many!! But 2 that stand out at the moment are "Tuesdays With Morrie" by Vince Album and "No Greater Love" by Danielle Steele

"The Virgin Suicides"
"The Shinning" (Stephen King; the other two I don't know the author)
And all of the vampire books by Anne Rice.

Tiff, that was a great book, but I still have to go with To Kill a Mockingbird or The Grapes of Wrath.

there's just to many............. I would have to say either the series (1#) Blue is for nightmares( page turners!!!) or the series by Phillup Pullman (1#) The Golden compass

At this point...I'd have to say Da Vinci Code. Couldn't put it down....great work of fiction!
