The CC is fine for kids. Its one of the older properties on the strip.

It has an indore "theme park" (a few rides and so forth) and a "Midway" upstairs where they can play games you find at the Fair. They used to have a trapeze act above the casino (nor sure if they still do or not)

Now the bad part. Vegas s not a great place for children. You will be walking down the street and people will be pushing porn pamflets in your face. The street is covered with them and there is absolutely no way to keep your kids from seeing it. People can walk the streets with alcohol and they do just that.

I have an 11 year old and he is too young to see what goes on in Vegas.

Correction to above, Circus Circus is in the middle of the strip and is not near old downtown. It's safe for kids, as long as they stay on the level where all the games are. Vegas can be fun for families. I spent a lot of time with my kids there.

I stayed at Circus Circus very last April, and easily loved it! they have upgraded the inn, so the rooms are nicer, purifier, and the numerous foyer section has a lot of casinos, some large eating places, or perhaps stay performances. i assumed it replaced into going to be plenty chintzier and cheezier than drowsing at a McDonald's, besides the undeniable fact that that is an exquisite first rate position. The decor is extra classic eu Circus form fare, no longer gaudy brilliant rooms with clown beds, whoopie cushions for pillows, and so on. It felt truly possibility-free for me when I stayed there. You do for sure, favor to look ahead to unscrupulous characters in any unfamiliar city. i will upload that you could drink a lot of water even as in Vegas. the surroundings there is amazingly dry. And once you're prudish, assume to be indignant by thousands of risque and sleazy "playing cards" of interior of sight strippers and dancers to cover about each and every sq. inch of city. i'm no longer prudish by any criteria, yet even i replaced right into somewhat placed off by the blatant littering of x-rated promos everywhere. Circus Circus is probable between the added "family individuals pleasant" places to pass.

I think most Las Vegas hotels are safe for kids.. as long as you are staying on the Strip. There is a really neat hotel that has a HUGE swimming pool. I think it's set up as if you were at the beach. I don't know the name of the hotel though, but I know it's on the strip. Good luck

I think most people are going to take the easy way out and say "yes". I will tell you, "NO".

Las vegas is not a safe place at all. Even the Circus Circus is filled with people and believe me -- some of them are thieves, pediphiles and general low-life losers.

Unless you are also a thief, pedophile and low-life loser, why would you even want to take your kids there?????

i don't think so... it is based on children and they would have a good time, however, it is near old downtown, which is not the safest area in vegas. if it were me, i would stay at the excalibur. there are castles, a pool, an arcade, etc. but i do have to agree with some others that vegas is not the place for children. while walking down the strip, people are handing our cards for prostitutes, and adult entertainment is advertised everywhere. they are not allowed in the casino except to walk through and there is not much to do for children. vegas is all about shopping, nightlife, dining, and sightseeing.

It's like any other place in Vegas, except it has stuff for kids. You never want to leave your kids unsupervised because you never know what kind of weirdo is going to kidnap and/or murder your kids. Remember a while back the little girl Sharice Iverson who was raped and murdered in a restroom after her parents left her in the arcades to play games by herself? It's unfortunate that the world we live in has to have child molesters and murderers. Keep your kids safe!

I've seen many families with kids on my trips to Vegas. If you stay right with your kids, I'd say it's probably as safe as anywhere else. I wouldn't let them run around by themselves.
