On a fresh stain:
1. Rinse stain in cold water.
2. Rub with a pure bar soap like Ivory.
3. Rinse again.
4. Repeat until stain is gone.
On a dried stain:
1. Scrape or rub off as much dried blood as possible.
2. Soak remaining blood stains in warm water using a laundry detergent.
3. Wash.
4. Re-wash, if necessary, using a non-chlorine bleach. If a stain remains, consider using a rust remover (following manufacturer's instructions), as it can help remove stubborn stains.
** Do not use chlorine bleach and rust removers together as they can create irritating fumes. **
If you don't have time for all of this, try what my washer says for blood removal:
1. Wash in Liquid chlorine bleach if it is safe for the fabric.
2. Use the hottest water that the fabric label allows, warm will probably work fine.
And if all that fails, buy new clothes!!! :o)

Try dabbing the stain with full strength Pine Sol and then rubbing the cloth together with itself. Then rinse under COLD water (hot or warm will set the stain).

peroxide will get blood out of anything as long as you do not wash it before you get the stain out with the peroxide.. just wash and rub the cloth with the peroxide and when the stain is about out then you take and wash the clothes with soap and in a washing machine...i know this works i have done it thousands of times...

Soak the stain with milk and let it set for an hour or so before rinsing it out under running water. If any stain remains, repeat the procedure.

Clorox works well for blood stains on white clothes. If you get blood on colored clothes, see your local forensics pathologist. He or she can get blood stains off of most anything.

I am a nurse and I have found that the best way to get blood out of your clothing is to use peroxide. For best results you should put peroxide on it right away.

Use GOOP Hand Cleaner: Rub it on the affected spot or spots, let it soak in for an hour or so, then machine wash in the regular way. And: don't get blood on your clothes anymore, sounds nasty.

Take a scoop of Biz powdered all-fabric bleach and dissolve in a plastic dishpan of cold water and let the item soak all day. I have used this method for years.
