Strange name.
Different is good, but not something unheard of.
She or he will always have to spell that name and repeat it.
This will be annoying.

I'm sorry, but I dislike this name for a couple of reasons.
The first, big reason is because Lenyn reminds me of the singer John Lennon. It's nothing personal against the singer, it's just that I generally don't like names that I associate with other things.
Lenyn also sounds a little bit like Lemon if it is said really fast. I think that it could provoke a bit of school-yard teasing.
I also think that Lenyn looks made-up. I prefer legitimate names. Many of the made-up names of late, also include a 'Y' which makes them a little bit boring.
Another reason that I dislike Lenyn is because I see it more as a masculine, rather than a feminine name. I can easily picture a child called Bradley Lenyn Lastname, but it is harder to conjure up images of a Ella Lenyn Lastname.
I hope I could be of some help!

I assume it's pronounced the same as Lenin as in Vladimir Lenin. I'd say unless it's Lennon as in a last name, forget that. You may as well name your kid Stalin as that makes about as much sense.
Anyway, first thought if I heard someone say, "My name is Lenyn" would be, "Too bad about that whole communist thing. Just never panned out even in Russia after 70 years." The ribbing would be endless. Then again by 2026 people will have forgotten Lenin...heck, people don;t even remember Mao now.

That's pretty. I think the name Lenyn reminds me of a sweet, adorable, little girl even though I've never met anyone with that name before. Congrats!

The spelling is interesting, and really, the person makes the name, not the other way around! Nevertheless, my first thought was of John Lenon, and my second was of linen.

I dig the name! I'm a huge Beatles fan, so it's a really awesome spin on John Lennon. I like it enough that if my next kid is a girl, I might even "borrow" the idea!!! :)

I personally like it. Its different and refreshing as opposed to all the names you hear on daay to day, then year to year basis. Its strong and yet feminine at the same time also. Good choice.

I don't like it very much. The spelling really makes it look like a made up name. Just my humble opinion. Best of luck!

I hear Lenyn and I think of Lennon, (the naked John Lennon in bed with Yoko) or I think of Lenin(as in USSR Lenin) neither are good thoughts.
