That would be GREAT... Mainly because they are my favorite team and I rarely get to watch them because I cant afford the MLB channels and the only FSN channel i get is FSN: NW and all they ever play are gay Mariners games.

It won't happen. Cable and dish companies all over are making bank by charging customers extra to get NESN. MLB gets $80 per season for a subscriber to be able to get Red Sox games over the internet. The Red Sox and NESN would not want to cheapen the product. That is the trend, as the Y*nkees have done with the YES network and the Mets are trying to do with their own network. Anyway, this year getting free Braves and Cubs games is more of a penance than a pleasure.

They already own NESN. It would be nice though. Maybe they can expand. Of coarse not to many owners have the Clout of Ted Turner who owns TBS and TNT and a lot of other Media outlets.

Are you serious. The Red Sox already have their own station, ESPN. The only other team their sharing it with is the Yankees.

the only reason the braves have an everyday station is becuase ted turner owns them, TNT and TBS, so when he plays his team on his channel, he maximizes him money intake

Perfect idea! The team already has a strong national following. They need their own network.

No, because I don't give a rat's *bleep* about the "Sawx". Big Papi and Man-Ram can just take their bats and go home...
