Why don't you use your own brain and your own personality and your own taste and your own likes and be an individual and pick out something unique that is comfortable that you like. Why do you want to look exactly like everyone? Be an individual! Be yourself and not a clone of some other person's style or taste!

Honestly, tennis shoes aren't very popular- at least at my school. I usually wear Rainbows (a brand of flip flops) or some Steve Madden heels. Keds makes some cute shoes, and so do some skate brands. I recommend going to Journey's- they have a lot of shoes that are in style.

It is fine for you, an eighth grader, to date a seventh grade girl. Your age difference (a matter of months at most) is not so great that it would raise any red flags. However, at your age, dating should consist of going out in groups of friends and spending time together in the company of your family. Even if you don't want to hear it, I'm going to say it. It is not in either of your best interest to become too exclusive with each other at such a young age. Dating is the way we chose a mate for life, and you do a better job at that if you know a lot of different people, and don't go too fast too soon.

It depends on the style you are going for. If you like the sporty look I would go for shox or something like that. Girly, I like the babyphat ones with the gems. Punkish, usually converse. For everyday I would get just a pair of plain white kswiss or something like that. Its not really easy to tell what is in style until school starts and like stated before, flip flops are pretty much in right now because of summer. Honestly, I wouldn't buy a pair until you need them in like september because sometimes things change. Good luck and I am sure whatever you get will be perfect.

Theres not really a huge popularity of tennis shoes in the recent year or so, but you can't go wrong with a pair of black converse lowtops. They aren't really just for "punk" or "emo", so don't worry if that isn't your "label".
If you don't like those, you probably can just get a pair of nike running style shoe, and they will probably look fine.
