MySpace Power Outage shuts down site
Myspace.com posted an announcement tonight at 6:40PM PST time that their data center had a power outage. Tom went on to post the following message:
"hey everyone! there's been a power outage in our data center. we're in the process of fixing it right now, so sit tight. hopefully we'll be back online within the hour. its 6:40pm PST now. wanna place a bet? -Tom"
There were many bets placed to Tom and he has lost since it is now 9:40PM PST

Power outage over 40,000 people in LA without power.Tom is working on it (says it will be up within the hour). That was an hour and a half ago.

Yes! It started yesterday! If the home page even loads, it won't let me log in. The problem seemed to have been fixed earlier today, but now I can't log in again! What is life without Myspace???

guess there was a power outage yesterday in LA and blew the servers...I was on there for like a minute 20 minutes ago and now I was bumped off. I guess they are still working on it...I guess that happens when you are trying to accomadate 95.5 million people.

yeah, saw a note from tom or whatever his name is that the power outages in souther california are affecting them.

Not signing on, but searching and looking under classifieds, Ive noticed that for some reason they do alot of their maintenance on Sundays...
