You will need to declare 1.Prohibited items, 2.Controlled or restricted items, 3.Taxable or dutiable items exceeding your GST Relief or 4. duty-free concession or Items for which no GST Relief or duty-free concession is granted.

Prohibited Items means the following items are NOT allowed to be brought into Singapore:
Liquors and cigarettes marked with the words "SINGAPORE DUTY NOT PAID" on the labels, cartons or packets
Cigarettes with the prefix "E" printed on the packets
Chewing gum
Chewing tobacco and imitation tobacco products
Cigarette lighters of pistol or revolver shape
Controlled drugs and psychotropic substances
Endangered species of wildlife and their by-products
Firecrackers
Obscene articles, publications, video tapes/discs and software
Reproduction of copyright publications, video tapes, video compact discs, laser discs, records or cassettes
Seditious and treasonable materials


Dutiable Goods covered Intoxicating liquors, including wine, beer, ale, stout and porter. Tobacco, including cigarettes and cigars.
Motor spirit.


Controlled and Restricted Items mean Certain goods are allowed entry into Singapore only when you produce the import permit or authorisation from the relevant authorities. If you do not have the import permit or authorisation, the item will be detained and referred it to the relevant authority for approval. For information on controlled or restricted items like:
Animals, birds and their by-products
Endangered species of wildlife and their by-products
Meat and meat products

That depends on which country you are entering. Generally, you must declare any taxable goods -- liquor and cigarettes in particular -- and if you are over the quota, you are expected to pay duty on them. You should pre-declare things like computers and cameras -- you can get a green card for them, that carries the serial numbers of the item, and that prevents problems when you travel because it shows you are simply carrying your own goods.
You have to declare how much cash you have, and whether you have any products from endangered species (for example, combs made from turtle shell, or carvings from elephant ivory) and these may be seized. Check with immigration officials before you leave home, so you know for certain what you have to declare and what you should not bring into the country with you.

food, wood crafts, lots of cash (check ur arrival card, it states there how much cash u r carrying needs to be declared -- other items that u need to declare too are stipulated in the card)
