The SD Zoo is in Balboa Park. Get on Highway 5 North for about 10 minutes (max) and you'll see the exit for SeaWorld.

From the Zoo, Exit the Zoo Parking Lot and do the following:
Go West on Park Blvd into downtown.
From Park Blvd., Turn Right on B. St.
From B. St., turn Right on Eleventh St.
From Eleventh St., Exit CA-163 North
From CA-163 North, Exit I-8 West marked "Beaches".
From I-8 West, Exit West Mission Bay Drive.
Go across the West Mission Bay Drive Bridge, stay to the right.
West Mission Bay Drive turns into Ingraham St.
From Ingraham St. Turn Right on Perez Cove Way.
Perez Cove Way will take you right to the Sea World Parking Lot.

The trip will take you less than 15-20 minutes. Good Luck.

I would say 4 hours for each...,,although you could stay longer. The problem with the Animal Park is that it is located north of San Diego in Escondido. If you have time, stop at Orfila Winery for wine tasting. It's located right on the way to the Wild Animal Park.

Realistically it will probably take you about 15 minutes (maybe longer if there is traffic, for example during rush hour). It's probably better to take the 163 than the 5. Less traffic and it takes you right to the zoo.

It's not far at all. A few miles I bet! They are both very close together. I used to go all the time.

It's inside the city, north of downtown near the oceanfront.

I'm not sure, but you can go to yahoo maps.com, and place your
info there and it'll give you the miles and how long it takes. Which
is not far.
