Try not to work if you can during the 1st year of law school. Then after that get a law clerk or law intern position at a firm for the summer. Then ask the firm if you can stay on part-time during school at the end of the summer.

Try to get hired at a law firm as an aide or paralegal. It will be good experience for when you look for a job later and will help you make sure that law is really what you want to do.
