It's not pretty. I had an algebra teacher whose insulin got out of whack in school. She didn't realize it was happening and just completely lost her grip. She ran out of the classroom and out of the building. The Vice Principal tackled her as she was running toward the highway and screaming. She was lucky. She could have made it to the highway and been killed; otherwise she would have eventually passed out and likely gone into a coma.

The final outcome would be death. Before that there is the slurring of speech, clamminess, mood changes, frequency in urination, coma......

well if they are totally dependant on insulin they would die..if not someone could change their diet and still survive..depending on the severity of their diabetes
