How has your life changed, for better or worse?

The current administration is either insane, or actively trying to harm the American people.

We're in the middle of a poorly managed war that we don't want or need, and that the international community doesn't approve of.

We're attempting to nation-build a sympathetic nation in the middle east, which we have no right to do.

The current administration is acting in a hypocritical manner... while the Iraqi government was definitely bad, they had no real international power. We didn't negotiate with them. North Korea is more insane, just as evil to its citizens, testing long range missiles (some of which can reach the west coast), and likely has limited nuclear capability. The current plan is that we might start negotiating with them.

The educational policies have directly hurt a number of people I know who work as teachers, and have negatively impacted their students.

The PATRIOT act is an unnecessary, ineffective piece of legislation that removes a number of civil rights from average citizens, with almost no actual benefit. It has worse ramifications on average American life than occasional terrorist attacks do, and yet the current administration defends it at every turn.

The money used to finance the war in Iraq is coming from long term loans. We haven't felt that yet, but over the next few decades, taxpayers (us, our children, and our grandchildren) are going to be paying a lot of interest to cover costs.

The environmental actions of the current administration have the potential for the worst impact... if they were less worried about getting oil for the US, and more worried about better energy solutions, they could have made a dent in the problems contributing to global warming. Unfortunately, money just isn't getting to these problems. In addition, the current administration has been preventing publication of a large amount of research on the subject of global warming. I dunno. Maybe the logic is that none of the above matters if everyone ends up dead.

So, in my opinion, this administration is abysmal. My life has changed for the worse, and has possibly been shortened by their actions and inactions. I plan to have a party when they finally leave office.

EDIT:

"On the morning of September 11, 2001, terrorists attacked our Nation. Since then, President Bush has taken unprecedented steps to protect our homeland and create a world free from terror. He is grateful for the service and sacrifice of our brave men and women in uniform and their families. The President is confident that by helping build free and prosperous societies, our Nation and our friends and allies will succeed in making America more secure and the world more peaceful"

Terrorists would have attacked whoever the president was. The actions taken in direct response were obvious. The actions taken since using 9/11 as a blanket excuse are difficult to count and generally harmful.

Leave the troops out of this. The wars aren't their fault, they just happen to be serving.

The last six-ish years haven't made the world more peaceful, and have destroyed our international credibility. Whatever Bush may believe, he has utterly failed in fostering peace or goodwill.

you know how I feel. I don't think the Bush administration is perfect...nor has any administration been. I do appreciate his dedication and resolve, and his unwillingness to back down when he believes he is right...even in the face of adversity. I respect someone who cares little about their popularity and alot about important issues.
My life has improved in the last six years....but in reality, it is not because of the administration. My life would have probably gone the same if Gore was Pres..or Kerry. I can count on one hand the number of times something a President has done that directly affected my life...
I mean, unless a President made it illegal to have a child, or to continue education...then the important things in my life would be the same.

Its pretty bad. Considering all the connections between the Bush
and Cheney families and the oil companies and their actions, its hard
for me to believe it isn't corrupt.

Even ignoring that, it seems almost unbelievably inept and still
remarkably adept at cynically manipulating the press.

I am a liberal, I am a Democrat - but I would have been pleased to
vote for McCain - someone who isn't particularly trying to divide the
country to cynically control the congress, etc.

I believe that he committed an impeachable offence by lying
to Congress ("We KNOW that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction").
I say it is impeachable because he was lying to Congress during
a constitutionally required function - the State of the Union. Surely
that has the force of perjury! Surely perjury before Congress
is a "High Crime and Misdimeanor".

The guys we got formed easily one of this country's worst 5 administrations
ever.

Since becoming President of the United States in 2001, President Bush has worked with the Congress to create an ownership society and build a future of security, prosperity, and opportunity for all Americans. He signed into law tax relief that helps workers keep more of their hard-earned money, as well as the most comprehensive education reforms in a generation, the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. This legislation is ushering in a new era of accountability, flexibility, local control, and more choices for parents, affirming our Nation’s fundamental belief in the promise of every child. President Bush has also worked to improve healthcare and modernize Medicare, providing the first-ever prescription drug benefit for seniors; increase homeownership, especially among minorities; conserve our environment; and increase military strength, pay, and benefits. Because President Bush believes the strength of America lies in the hearts and souls of our citizens, he has supported programs that encourage individuals to help their neighbors in need.

On the morning of September 11, 2001, terrorists attacked our Nation. Since then, President Bush has taken unprecedented steps to protect our homeland and create a world free from terror. He is grateful for the service and sacrifice of our brave men and women in uniform and their families. The President is confident that by helping build free and prosperous societies, our Nation and our friends and allies will succeed in making America more secure and the world more peaceful

Worse, Bush didn't want to touch the illegal immigrant issue.

Signed the North American Union which eliminates America. It opens up all our borders (forget the war on terrorism) with Canada and Mexico. The N.A.U will have power over our courts including the supreme court.

Wanted to give over our ports to countries linked to terrorism.

Gas prices through the roof (Bush and Cheney are oil guys)

Iraq has no end in sight

Cut $40.000.000 dollars on pediatric training for doctors

Cut funding for alternative energy resources by 50%. (again oil guy)

Cut $700.000.000 in funds for public housing repairs

Has had just about everybody who has worked for him quit. Usually that means your boss is corrupt, or an A$$HOLE.

because they're persevering with to calculate it the way it has continuously been calculated. edit: those human beings's solutions do not make any experience. the U. S. unemployment fee is calculated by dividing the quantity of unemployed workers by the total inhabitants. right here's the position it receives problematic, so pay interest. unemployed workers are those who're prepared and able to artwork, besides as actively searching for artwork (or were contained in the previous 4 weeks). hence, in case you have not appeared for artwork in 4 weeks (a discouraged worker) you do not make the unemployment fee. you could change the calculation to comprise each and every man or woman w/o a job (in case you experience it may assist with something), besides the undeniable fact that it purely isn't referred to as the "unemployment fee"

the administration did not divide us, the media did when they started to bash everything Bush did. And you can't blame your economic problems on the president. Overall, out of th people who ran, none would have handled our problems better than Bush
