I think the smartest celebrity is someone who can not only make money for themselves, but raise money for a worthwhile cause.
Having said that, even though a number of people raised a royal ruckus about Brangelina, look at the profile they raised by having their baby in Africa and selling the pix for millions of dollars to raise money for charity. BIG kudos to them for that.

Oprah, because she has made a fortune for herself. And she is well liked in the public eye, She has an image of a very caring and thoughtful women. Marthe Stewart is very smart but less likable, because she seems to be self-centered.
